RM of Wise Creek’s story
The Rural Municipality of Wise Creek No. 77 sits in the southwest part of Saskatchewan, near Admiral. It was incorporated as a rural municipality on January 1, 1913.
Within its boundaries lies the village of Cadillac, along with several unincorporated communities and localities: Admiral, Crichton, Driscol Lake and Frenchville. Admiral was once a village but was dissolved from village status on August 17, 2006.
Today the RM is run by an elected council and an appointed administrator, who meet on the second Wednesday of each month. Its office is in Shaunavon, which it shares with the RM of Grassy Creek.
